The Boerne Champion boys soccer team has won two straight in district play to close out the first round and kick off the second round.
Champion defeated Seguin, 6-1, last week to close the first round and then edged Wagner, 3-2, last Friday as they began the second round of 26-5A play.
The Chargers are 4-2-2 in district and 9-2-2 overall. They played Veterans Memorial Tuesday and then visit New Braunfels Canyon Friday.
