Boerne Champion’s Elizabeth Leachman continues to rewrite the record books after she set another national mark Thursday at the Texas Relays in Austin.
What made it impressive is that Leachman ran in a race against college athletes and defeated the entire field.
Leachman posted a time of 15:25.27 for first place in the 5000-meter race to set a new national high school record.
