Tapatio Springs golfers raise $7,000 for veterans program

On Veteran’s Day, Monday, Nov. 11, the Tapatio Springs Men’s Golf Association hosted a fundraising golf tournament to benefit local veterans.

Then on Friday Nov. 22, Tapatio’s Denny Stein and Jeff Lott went to the American GI Forum in San Antonio to donate the money that was raised from the event.

A total donation of $7,160 was made to the American GI Forum, a National Veterans Outreach program. This is a wonderful group that has several programs to benefit local veterans in the greater San Antonio area.
