While the proprietors of Studio Comfort Texas, Jeannette MacDougall and Cara Hines, are no strangers to HCCArts, the gallery is new to the art partner membership. As such, HCCArts will announce the opening of new exhibits and workshops offered throughout the year.
“Studio Gallery” is how MacDougall and Hines reference the unique environment they have created, combining display and integrating the community through fine arts classes. The artist-studio-gallery is home to an exclusive group of fine arts educators and artists.
The gallery is located in a historic building at 716 High St. in downtown Comfort, walking distance from a lovely lunch at the High Street Cafe. Studio Comfort opened its doors in January 2019.
