Geneva School of Boerne hosted New Braunfels Christian Academy for the second time this season in girls soccer and won the match, 6-2.
The Wildcats opened the night with a goal five minutes in, but Audrey Davis leveled the score after beating the goalkeeper one-on-one. Lana Harrison gave Geneva the go-ahead goal off of an assist from Katelyn Davis and with less than a minute left in the half, but NBCA would get a break-away and tie it again by halftime, 2-2.
Geneva came out strong in the second half with Katelyn Davis scoring 3 goals and her sister Audrey Davis scoring 1. Geneva’s didn’t allow a goal in the second half.
Katelyn Davis recorded 3 goals and 1 assist, Audrey Davis had 2 goals and 1 assist, Lana Harrison finished with 1 goal and 1 assist, while Sarah Coultress, Samantha Doran and Elise Valdez tallied 1 assist.
Defensively, keeper Maggie Carraway came up with 2 saves and other outstanding defensive efforts were turned in by Elise Valdez, Sarah Coultress, Kellyn Beau-champ and Samantha Doran.
