Abbott appoints Boerne resident to Specialty Courts Advisory Council

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has appointed five individuals, including Diane Bull of Boerne, to the Specialty Courts Advisory Council. The council evaluates applications for grant funding for specialty courts from the governor’s office and makes funding recommendations to the criminal justice division regarding best practices.

Bull’s term will expire on February 1, 2027.

The other appointees are Elizabeth Rainey and Leslie Robnett, with terms to expire February 1, 2023, and February 1, 2025, respectively. Abbott also reappointed Brent Carr and Rebecca DePew for terms set to expire February 1, 2027.
