Both the Boerne Champion and Boerne High boys basketball teams will play in the state tournament this coming week in the Alamodome after both won their respective regional championship games Saturday afternoon.
The Chargers defeated Veterans Memorial Saturday at Littleton Gym, 51-46, while the Greyhound beat Somerseet in overtime, 45-44, in Kingsville.
Champion will play Thursday in the state semis in the Alamodome and the Greyhounds will play Friday afternoon.

Geneva School of Boerne
The Geneva School of Boerne girls soccer team was defeated in the TAPPS state semifinals Saturday.
