Boerne staffers held the first of several informational meetings to inform residents about the combined $36 million bond proposals set for the November ballot. The next meeting is 6-7 p.m. Oct. 7 at city hall.

City officials held a public meeting Sept. 21 at city hall for the public to learn about the upcoming bond election. Staff gave a brief presentation about the bond election, potential tax rate impacts, propositions and projects. Residents in attendance were then able to ask questions. There will be two propositions on the November 8 ballot for residents to consider. Early voting will be Oct. 24 – Nov. 4.

Prop A: Streets and Mobility ($23 Million) This proposition, if approved by voters, would provide funding for improvements to the City of Boerne’s roadway infrastructure, turn lanes, intersections and traffic signals. Projects may include but are not limited to the reconstruction of Adler Road and other streets, as well as improvements to intersections.
