Early voting targeting the two Boerne Independent School District bond propositions, the one BISD board of trustees race and the pair of state constitutional amendments produced a 7.3 percent area turnout, according to information from the Kendall County Elections Office.

Statistics from that office on Wednesday showed 3,676 ballots were cast among the 50,591 eligible voters in Kendall, Bexar and Comal counties. Early voting took place from Monday, April 25, through Tuesday, May 3. Election Day is this Saturday, and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

More than 2,900 ballots were cast in Kendall County while more than 700 were counted in Bexar County. The heaviest voting day was the last day as more than 900 total votes were cast.
