The Geneva School of Boerne board of trustees announced Friday the hiring of David Corbin as Geneva’s next head of school. Corbin will begin his new leadership role at Geneva on July 1, information from the Christian institution stated.

He currently serves as the interim president, vice president of academic affairs and professor of politics at Providence Christian College in Pasadena, California.

Corbin spent 10 years teaching at The King’s College in New York City, where he served for three years as the dean of the school of politics, philosophy and economics. He has a PhD in political science, has authored a book on Thucydides’ History of the Peloponnesian War and co-authored books titled “Keeping Our Republic: Principles for a Political Reformation” and “A Reader's Guide to Aristotle’s Politics.”

Though Corbin has formidable academic and classical credentials, Geneva board of trustees Chairperson Debbie Ledoux said the board is most excited about his Christ-centered leadership.
