Betty Jane Rittimann Skeels, 81, of Boerne passed away on Nov. 20, 2022. Betty was born on Dec. 2, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas, to Alice Ward Rittimann and Herbert Rittimann. She graduated from Sam Houston High School, and she married Harold A. Skeels on Jan. 6, 1962. They were married for 51 years before his passing. She was a registered childcare giver for over 35 years, known by many in the Boerne community as Grandma Betty. Harold and Betty were happiest when they could spend time with their family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty loved hummingbirds and always made sure they had plenty to eat at her house in the way of flowers and feeders.
