April 23, 1953 - July 23, 2020

Carol Elaine Goodrich was 67 years young when she gained her wings on July 23, 2020. She was born April 23, 1953, to Aurora and Cullen “Mac” McCracken in Corona, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill McCracken. She leaves behind two children: her son, Philip Goodrich, and wife Kristin of Boerne, TX, and her daughter, Kelly Cabrera, and husband Edmundo of Corpus Christi, TX. She also leaves her three brothers, Jerry McCracken, Ron McCracken and wife Rose of Baltimore, MD, and Michael McCracken and wife Victoria of Lago Vista, TX; her sister, Cathy King and husband Brad of Sugarland, TX; her 6 granddaughters, Caitlin, Cailie, Izabella, Abigayle, Kleve and Adalynne; and numerous cherished friends and loved ones.

Daughter, sister, mother, Grandma Carol and Cha-cha are just some of the titles Carol held in her life. She loved to travel, bake, sew and spend time with her family. She loved sewing and truly was the female version of “Tim the Tool Man Taylor.”

She had many talents and a keen eye. Carol wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and was a cherished listening ear for many people. She has over 46 years of civil service,and worked for the Department of Justice for over 19 years – earning the respect of her peers. Carol had a distinguished career and many things to be proud of.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Carol’s honor to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.

“She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.” Proverbs 31:25-26
