Carol Hester, 94, of Boerne, Texas, passed away on March 2, 2023.
Carol was born on April 28, 1928 in Chapman Ranch ( Corpus Christi), Texas, to Earl and Annie Mae (Wilson) London. She was an amazing, loving wife, mother, nana, aunt, and sister. She was an avid gardener and animal lover/whisperer. She loved her church community at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where she was a caregiver to the priests at Casa de Padres for many years. She is survived by her heirs, son, F. G. Duke Hester of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Jeanette K. Gillespie (Jay) of Raytown, MO; daughter, Patricia M. French of Andover, KS; son, Dan E. Hester (Kelly) of Sierra Vista, AZ; granddaughter Chrissy Hebert (Richard) of Gilroy, CA; and grandson Troy Reil (Kacey) of Pacific Grove, CA; 1 niece, 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, F. G. Jud Hester; daughter, Jan Horton; father, Earl London; mother, Annie Mae Fischer; sister, Beth Harris; motherin- law, Frances Hester.
