Frances Sally Pratt

June 17, 1928 – October 6, 2021

 

Frances Sally Pratt passed away on, October 6, 2021, at Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas. 

She was born on June 17, 1928, in Laredo, Texas, to K.C. and Maxine Sally. She graduated from William Adams High School in Alice, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas. After receiving her degree in home economics and education she moved back home to teach at William Adams High School. 

She then turned her talents to being a Realtor in Corpus Christi, Texas, until she and R.W. moved to the Hill Country in 1995. She married Robert W. Pratt on January 28, 1950, and commenced a 71-year partnership and adventure together. They loved spending time with family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maxine and K.C. Salley; her sister, Beverly Rohe; and nephews Bruce and Roark Rohe. She is survived by her husband, R.W.; her sons, Robin Pratt (Cindy) and Byron Pratt (Mary); her grandchildren, Derek, Caitlin, Dillon (Crystal), Joanna and Robert (Aja) Pratt; and her great-grandchildren, Braxton, Axel and Novah Pratt. 

A celebration of life will be held at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church, 208 W. Bandera Road, Boerne, Texas, on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the church’s activity center.
