Howard William Rust

Howard William Rust was born on October 4, 1953. He passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 68.
Howard was raised in Boerne during his younger years. He moved to San Antonio and attended MacArthur High School.
He lived in San Antonio until he got married and moved to Blanco. His work then took him to North Texas where he lived in Frisco and then Knox City. He moved back to Boerne in 2021 to help take care of his mother.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Ferrell Rust and mother Joan Nell (Dacy) Rust. He is survived by his children, Shane Rust and wife Stacie of Trinity, Alabama, and Cory McMain and wife Amy of Blanco; grandchildren Starr, Kamdon, Oliver, Bailey, Savannah and Devin; sisters Darlene Gordon of Houston and Brenda Lary of San Antonio; and brother Todd Rust and his wife, Jennifer Rust, of Boerne.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Boerne Cemetery.
