Jack Benjamin Johnson went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2019, in Boerne. He was born on Dec. 5, 1931, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Charles Benjamin Johnson and Charlsie Ruth McCurry. He was an avid aviation enthusiast as well as founder and president of Texas Skyways Inc., an international company located in Boerne. He was the recipient of the prestigious Wright Brothers “Master Pilot” award after 69 years of flying. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Mickey Jo Johnson; son Curtis Benjamin Johnson (Pam); daughter Phyllis Danielle Johnson-Beaird (Jerry); grandchildren Amanda Johnson, Charles Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Ryan Struzyk (Kasey) and Kyle Struzyk.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cornerstone Church Chapel. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 16, at 11 a.m., also at the Cornerstone Church Chapel.
