Jeffery Alan Newman

April 18, 1971 – August 10, 2021

Jeffery Alan Newman, 50, of Boerne, Texas, passed away on August 10, 2021, at his parents’ home in Spring Branch, Texas.

Born April 18, 1971, in Houston, Texas, Jeff is survived by his grandmother, Gladys Newman; his parents, Jerry and Becky Newman; his son, Jeffery Newman of Houston; his oldest daughter, Paris Newman; granddaughter Journee of Evans, Louisiana, and his youngest daughter, Giada (Gigi) Shores. He is also survived by his sister, Jennifer West of Canyon Lake; his brother, Bobby (Toni) Strack of Houston; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Gay Lynn Adams Wells; grandfathers Gerald Newman, Al Adams and Ray Clinton; and grandmothers Sue Adams and Lois Juanita Brewer.

Jeff was a kind and caring person who made friends easily everywhere he went and will always be remembered by his family and friends for his generous nature and his ability to make people laugh. In fact, he was known for making you laugh until you hurt as you listened to him telling a story, with that story often being at his own expense.

And throughout his life, Jeff would befriend people in need, a common theme for him, and would give his last dime to help anyone he could, whether he knew them or not.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 2 p.m. in the Youth Activity Center behind St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 7420 FM 2673, Canyon Lake, Texas.
