John Long of Boerne, Texas went to be with the Lord on Dec. 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Rachel Long. He is survived by his son Russell Long of Houston, Texas; daughter in law Patty Long of Houston, Texas; son and daughter-inlaw Wes and Lonnie Long of Dripping Springs, Texas; Long
grandchildren Kristin and Matt Bailey of Bullard, TX; Austin and Kaitlyn Long of Austin, TX; Julianne and Dalton Lunday of Dripping Springs, TX; great grandchildren William, Isabell, James, Murphee, Tatum, and Harlan.
John was a longtime member of Faith Bible Church in Boerne and First Baptist Church of Boerne.
