Rebecca Lynn Stewart, 52, of Boerne, passed away on January 11, 2022.
Rebecca was born on July 27, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas, to Sheila Stewart Wauters and Ted Stewart. Rebecca enjoyed bowling, puzzling, music, traveling, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Sheila Wauters; her stepfather, Jerry Wauters; her father, Ted Stewart and wife Diana; her step-grandparents, Hilda and Fred Wauters; her half-brothers, Paul Michael Wauters and Tommy Stewart; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edith and Joe Theis; and her paternal grandparents, Mary and Tom Stewart.
The family would like to express their gratitude toward Elegant Care Hospice for their guidance and support through this difficult journey.
Instead of floral remembrances, the family suggests that donations can be made to the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas or to the American Cancer Society to honor Rebecca's memory.
A celebration of life event will be held at a later date.
