Richard Isador Manas passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at home in Boerne, Texas, following a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home in Boerne. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at the funeral home followed by a private graveside service. Officiating will be Pastor Pete Johnson.
Richard was born in New York City, New York (Bronx), on Feb. 6, 1943, to Nathan and Roslyn (Mintzer) Manas who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Christine Richardson. He is survived by loving family members including his brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Tammie Manas, of Georgetown, Texas, along with their children, Meredith, Daniel and his wife Amanda, and their children, Cooper and Charlotte; Richard’s daughter, Karen Medina of Boerne and faithful ranch hand, Martin Medina, along with their children, Mary, Kayla and her husband Joe, and their children Amelia and Leland. He is also survived by his stepchildren: Steven Standley and his wife Maria, Bethany Gerardi and her husband Joseph, Lana Richardson/ Buttner and her sons Cole and Hunter, and Forrest Richardson with his wife, Shelley, and their children Joshua and Joel, and grandchild Noah.
