Robert S. “Bobbie” Clark

September 29, 1947 – January 17, 2022 

 

Robert S. “Bobbie” Clark passed away January 17, 2022. Bobbie was born to Roscoe and Arlie Clark on September 29, 1947, in Charleston, Arkansas. 

Bob and his family moved to Boerne when he was about 9 years old.  He enjoyed sports and played football in high school. He was a talented artist who loved to draw and especially create cartoons. He also liked creating his own lyrics to songs. He was an avid reader and liked learning.  

After high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp to serve his country with pride in Vietnam for four years. As the children grew up, he enjoyed helping in the scouting program. He helped two of his sons get their Eagle Scouts. He also helped young children and adults by teaching art classes. 

Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joan; his children, Jeremiah and wife Amy, Hannah and partner Jill, Andrew and Samuel and his wife, Raquell.  is also survived by his grandsons, Brandt, Marshall, Vince, Max and Igor; along with nieces and nephews. He will be missed.

Services at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
