Ruby Theis Schaub

Ruby Theis Schaub passed away on January 4, 2021. She was born to the late Emil and Louise Theis in Boerne, Texas. She was married for 62 years to Vernon Schaub, who passed away in February 2010.

Ruby was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Rainbow Senior Center (now Kronkosky Place).

She is survived by her son, Gary Schaub (Bernice) of New Braunfels; grandchildren Dustin Shipman of San Antonio and Travis Shipman (Chrissy) of Corpus Christi; great-grandchildren Charlotte and Samantha Shipman; brother Maurice Theis (Jeannie) of Boerne; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Ewing (Woodrow) of Montague, Michigan, and her sister, Gladys White of Ingram, Texas.
