The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. 12:17 a.m., 1300 S. Main – A caller reported a woman was yelling and waving her arms around in front of the store.
12:17 a.m., 100 Point Rd. – A caller complained that after a neighbor agreed to alter his security lights last night, they were shining in the caller’s window again.
5:35 a.m., 200 Cibolo Basin – A man reported his young teen son had run away again after being returned home the day before.
8:01 a.m., 30000 I-10 – A woman said she was suspicious of the guy who took pictures of her RV.
8:15 a.m., FM 3351 & Weaver Rd. – A caller said he and another fellow had rounded up two loose horses and put them behind a gate, but don’t believe that’s their home.
9:41 a.m., 1000 Front St., Comfort – A caller said he had a confrontation with a neighbor a few minutes ago and wanted to tell a deputy about it.
9:53 a.m., 1000 Front St., Comfort – A woman complained that while arguing with her husband all night he stuck his finger in her face and hit her on the temple.
9:57 a.m., Kreutzberg – A man was suspicious about a rental truck that pulled into his yard, but deputies learned it was a delivery person with a package he was expecting.
10:01 a.m., W. Hwy. 46 – About a half-dozen cows were lollygagging on the road.
10:49 a.m., 1000 Front St., Comfort – A caller complained about a trespasser.
10:52 a.m., 600 Front St., Comfort – A guy that stole stuff three weeks ago and returned to stuff flashlights in his pants was arrested.
10:56 a.m., 100 Kendall Pkwy. – The three boys skateboarding at a community pool were gone when deputies got there.
11:20 a.m., 100 Hummingbird Hill Dr. – A man suspected a caller claiming to be his grandson was trying to scam him – he doesn’t have a grandson.
11:33 a.m., 100 Canyon Circle – When a woman feared burglars were in her house because a door was open, deputies found no one there, so she figured an exterminator had left it open.
11:51 a.m., 100 East Circle – A woman returned home to find a window broken and suspected it was an attempted burglary.
1:18 p.m., 100 Pebble Creek – A man complained his ex-wife was filing false reports against with CPS.
3:36 p.m., 1000 S. Hwy. 87, Comfort – After a caller said a man and woman were having a screaming fight in a parking lot, then drove off with the woman holding a child in the front seat, a trooper found the vehicle and arrested one of the two.
4:18 p.m., 100 Mountain View Tr. – A woman complained she was being harassed by a drone.
5:15 p.m., 400 Edge Falls Rd. – A deputy charged the people at the private falls with criminal trespass.
7:06 p.m., 400 Edge Falls Rd. – More people were reported illegally parking.
7:40 p.m., 100 Rhine St. – EMS was called when a man was run over by a vehicle.
8:24 p.m., 100 Riverwood – A caller said the two young boys a Hummer drove off and left starting yelling, cussing and punching walls, but the vehicle came back for them.
10:13 p.m., Winsbrook Dr. – Deputies couldn’t find the teens on ATVs a woman said were riding in a creek-bed and on her property shooting guns.
10:44 p.m., 600 FM 474 – A woman’s friends were located after she reported being separated while they were floating down the river.
11:06 p.m., 300 Fifth St., Comfort – A woman wanted to deputy tell her what to do about her Australian shepherd and bull mastiff that were not getting along and fighting.
Deputies also made 15 traffic stops, assisted the public eight times and an EMS crew once, checked out one suspicious person, worked one non-injury wreck, attempted to serve one warrant and handled one reckless driver report, one civil matter, one animal call, six security checks and two false alarms.
7:22 a.m., 100 W. Hwy. 46 – No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash, but wreckage was scattered all over the road.
9:37 a.m., Staudt St. – A woman reported several men were being picked up mornings and dropped off evenings at an abandoned property.
2:53 p.m., Staudt St. – A woman was causing problems for a man trying to get his son out of jail.
3:07 p.m., Walnut Grove Rd. – A goat was gadding about on the road.
4:19 p.m., E. FM 473, Comfort – A man complained about the noisy visitors coming to his upstairs neighbor’s each night.
5:22 p.m., I-10 mile 537 – When a deputy caught up with the reported reckless driver, she explained she was in a hurry to use the restroom.
6:35 p.m., 400 FM 473, Comfort – A caller complained about the reckless, speeding Tesla with a “GoGreen” license plate.
6:42 p.m., 100 Chase Circle – A woman reported her dad stole her motorcycle three months ago and wrecked it in San Antonio.
7 p.m., 700 Cypress Bend – A man complained a process server was trespassing on his property.
Deputies also made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public once and another law enforcement agency once, worked one non-injury wreck, attempted to serve one warrant and handled six reckless driver reports, two civil matters, eight security checks and four false alarms.
12:18 a.m., I-10 mile 527 – EMS was called for injuries when one 18-wheeler rolled over after colliding with another.
9:25 a.m., 200 E. San Antonio – Two people were arrested at the courthouse.
9:51 a.m., 900 High St., Comfort – After a woman reported her vehicle was stolen, she learned a family member had loaned it to someone.
11:17 a.m., 200 E. San Antonio – A woman was arrested on an active warrant.
11:28 a.m., FM 473 & Amber Dr., Comfort – During a traffic stop, one man was arrested.
12:48 p.m., 200 Joe Klar – A woman complained a drone was flying by her window last night.
1:09 p.m., 200 E. San Antonio – Two men were arrested on active warrants.
1:24 p.m., I-10 mile 542 – A caller complained about trash flying out of a garbage truck.
1:54 p.m., 200 Doeskin Dr. – A man complained he was getting threats on a social media app.
2:48 p.m., 300 Whitworth Rd. – A woman said someone stole her identity and opened utility accounts in her name in Houston.
4:18 p.m., 100 Oakwood Ln. – A man said two loose dogs were chasing his chickens.
4:33 p.m., Resort Way – A clerk said someone broke the window of a hotel guest’s Jeep and burglarized it.
7:20 p.m., 100 Point Rd. – A mother complained her son had broken into her house.
9:17 p.m., 300 Seewald Rd. – Firefighters were called to rescue a mother and her ‘tween-aged son when they got lost and cold after being on the river for hours.
Deputies also made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public eight times and an EMS crew once, checked out one suspicious vehicle, tried to serve one warrant, worked one non-injury wreck and handled four welfare checks, three reckless driver reports, two civil matters, four security checks and three false alarms.
