SAN ANTONIO – The Boerne High boys basketball team went toe-to-toe with Houston Washington for the entire four quarters of last Friday’s 4A state semifinals game in the Alamodome, but in the end, the Eagles just had too much firepower for the Greyhounds.

The Eagles won last Friday’s state semifinals game in the Alamodome, 75-69, and ended Boerne’s year at 32-6.

It’s the third straight year for the Greyhounds to play in the 4A state semifinals, a first in Boerne ISD history for a basketball team.
