Kendall Leininger, a student at Boerne Area Christian Homeschoolers (BACH), made the USA Triathlon Team and will have the opportunity to compete for the United States in Germany this summer.
Leininger has been competing in triathlons for 18 months and is currently running cross country for FEAST under coach Mark Jones and is also working with Kenny Dirkson with Celerity Runners.
Under Jones and Dirkson, s h e has made huge improvements in her running. Leininger said this was the first year in her training she has had a team to push her, which has helped her tremendously.
