Both the Boerne High varsity cross country teams qualified for this year’s 4A state meet after their performances at Monday’s regional meet in Corpus Christi.
The Boerne High boys took second as a team, while the Lady Greyhounds were fourth. The top four teams advance to the state meet scheduled for next weekend at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock.
The 4A state meet is set for Friday, Nov. 4, with the girls racing at 8:30 a.m. and the boys scheduled to run at 9 a.m.
