Boerne Champion played a pair of baseball games earlier this week with a league game and a non-district contest and split the two.
The Chargers won their district contest on Tuesday over Wagner, 13-0, but dropped their non-district tilt on Wednesday to rival Alamo Heights by a run, 10-9.
The Chargers were back on the field against the Thunderbirds on Friday as they continued district action. For results of Wednesday game against the Mules and Friday’s 26-5A tilt with Wagner, look in the Wednesday online edition of the Boerne Star.
