The Boerne Champion boys golf team was recently entered in the Texas Shoot-Out hosted by Johnson High School.
Champion finished 8th with a score of 644. Houston Memorial won the event with a 595, followed by Lake Travis (614) and Smithson Valley (615).
Champion shot a 318 and a 326 to get its 644. Zach Franz had a two-day score of 149, Phoenix Guerra scored a 152, Caden Smart tallied a 168, Aidan Taylor finished with a 172, while Dalton Cunningham and Tristan Frantz both carded 179s.
