AUSTIN – Boerne Champion earned two state medals at last Saturday’s 5A state swim and dive meet in Austin, with one of the medals being gold and the other silver.
The Chargers just missed out on a few others as they had several swimmers/ divers place in the top five. The result was a 5th-place showing for the Charger boys team and a 7th place finish for the girls.
Georgetown won the boys meet with 200 points, while the Chargers with 5th with 137.5 points. Cedar Park won the girls meet with 194 points, while the Lady Chargers were 7th with 104 points.
