The Boerne Champion softball team was entered in its first tournament of the season last weekend when they played in the Hill Country Classic.
Champion earned its first two wins of the year and went 2-4 at the event in six games played. The Lady Chargers are 2-5 overall and played at Harlandale Tuesday. They are entered in the NEISD tourney this weekend.
