Boerne Champion Coach Keith Kaiser closed out the “greatest 10 years of my life” in spectacular fashion, leading the Chargers to a 56-31 victory over MacArthur, Friday at Heroes Stadium.

“The parents were incredible, and the kids were super,” said Kaiser, whose retirement was announced this week “And I didn’t play one down (of football).

Quarterback Jordan Ballin helped make his coach’s last night on the job a memorable one, scoring six total touchdowns - five throwing and one running - in Boerne Champion’s second straight victory to close out its season. The Chargers ran over Lehman of Kyle for a 37-14 victory the week prior.
