Boerne Champion split its last two softball games and lost a tough one to Seguin, 8-7, and then bounced back to whip Wagner, 10-0.
Also last week, the Lady Chargers closed out the first round of district and began the second round with Friday’s contest vs. Wagner.
Champion is 4-4 in district and 10-11 overall. They were at Veterans Memorial on Tuesday and host NB Canyon on Thursday of this week.
