Comfort Deer play in Harper hoops tourney

The Comfort girls basketball team played in the Harper Tournament last weekend where the Deer played four games.

Comfort won its first game but then dropped its next three to finish with a record of 1-3 at the event. The Deer stand at 8-7 overall and were back in action Tuesday when they hosted La Pryor.

CHS opened the tournament on Thursday by defeating Center Point, 37-17, but unfortunately for the Deer, that was their only win of the event.
