Deer play in Pearsall basketball tourney

Comfort High played in the Pearsall Maverick Classic girls basketball tournament last weekend and the Deer posted a record of 3-2.

Deer player Jackie Zapata was named to the All-Tournament Team after Zapata tallied 37 points, 46 rebounds and 6 steals over the five games.

Comfort stands at 5-3 overall following the tournament and played two games on the road this week before the Thanksgiving break.
