SAN ANTONIO – Boerne High had a great start to Monday’s firstround playoff game against Kennedy at the Northside Sports Gym.

The Greyhounds were leading 24-0 in the first six minutes of the game and were up 30-6 by the end of the first period. BHS never looked back from there on its way to an 85-43 victory.

The Hounds improved to 28-5 overall and await the winner of the Iowa Colony – Royal game. Iowa Colony is ranked No. 11 and the Greyhounds are No. 7 so it’ll be a battle of state-ranked teams if Iowa Colony won on Tuesday night.
