The Boerne Champion volleyball team was on the road Tuesday for a district match and picked up a three-set win over Wagner, while one of its players hit a career milestone.
Champion swept the Thunderbirds, 25-14, 25-12, 25-15, and improved to 3-1 in district and 25-6 overall. The Lady Chargers were at home on Friday to host Pieper.
During Tuesday’s match, Izzy Maszak tallied 12 assists to put her over 1,000 in her varsity career.
