Boerne Champion was on the road Tuesday afternoon to kick off the 2023 girls soccer season. The Lady Chargers were at Clemens and picked up a 2-0 shutout win over the Lady Buffs to start the season at 1-0.
Champion hosted an alumni game Friday before playing in the NEISD Tournament next weekend.
Emma Mae Dixon recorded the first goal of the year on the assist from Reagan Burkey in the 21st minute of the match.
