The Boerne High girls basketball team hosted Davenport as they continued district play and Tuesday’s contest at Greyhound Gym turned into a lopsided win for the Lady Hounds.
Boerne High defeated Davenport, 67-16, and improves to 22-3 overall and 2-0 in district. They host Canyon Lake Friday, 6:30 p.m.
BHS was up 8-0 in the first two minutes and was leading 15-4 at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Hounds pulled away in the second period when they outscored their opponents 25-4 for the 40-8 halftime lead.
