Lady Hounds have 8 basketball players and coach honored by district

The Boerne High girls basketball team dominated this year’s all-district selections after the Lady Greyhounds won the 27-4A title and eventually advanced all the way to the 4A state tournament.

The Lady Hounds had 8 players and its head coach Amy Ruede receive district awards.

Ruede was named Coach of the Year; senior Jamie Ruede was voted the District MVP and junior Averi Aaron was selected as the Defensive MVP.
