Lady Hounds sending four to 4A state track and field meet

Boerne High sent four athletes – Ashley Clingman, Tori Adams, Kendall Lemm and Mary Marino – to this week’s 4A state track and field meet held Thursday in Austin on the University of Texas campus.

Three of the athletes competed Thursday morning basically at the same time. Adams and Clingman were throwing in the shot put at 9 a.m. and Lemm competed in the high jump at 9 a.m.

It was a great morning for the Greyhounds after they picked up three state medals. Adams earned a silver medal and Clingman bagged bronze in the shot put and Lemm picked up silver in the high jump.
