Kendall Leininger a senior at Boerne Area Christian Homeschool, competed at Triathlon Nationals held April 20-23. She was able to claim her spot on the 2024 USA Triathlon Team in two different individual events and the mixed team relay.
Leininger was also able to help her mixed team relay (two guys and two girls each doing a short triathlon and then tagging their teammate) win the bronze medal by moving them up five spots during her leg of the triathlon.
Leininger is currently on the 2023 USATriathlon Team and will be competing in Hamburg, Germany this summer representing the USA. She will also be attending Liberty University in the fall and competing for their triathlon team under Coach Heather Gollnick. Kim Clark, a junior elite coach in Ohio, is Leininger’s current coach.
