The Comfort Cats traveled to Hondo on Tuesday to take on Hondo and fell to the Owls, 71-57.
Comfort falls to 10-13 on the season. They hosted Poteet on Friday before opening district play next Friday at Blanco.
Both teams started well in Tuesday’s game and the Owls were up 22-17 in the first. Hondo added to its lead in the second after winning the quarter, 16-12, for the 38-29 halftime lead.
