Tivy tops Chargers for third place in 26-5A

Third place was on the line in District 26-5A Tuesday night when the Champion volleyball team hosted Kerrville Tivy at Charger Gym.

Champion battled and left it all on the court but came up short to the Lady Antlers in five sets and will be the fourth seed heading into next week’s playoffs.

Tivy won the match, 25-23, 25-15, 22-25, 10-25, 15-13. The Lady Chargers end the regular season at 30-11 overall and 8-6 in district and face Leander- Rouse in the first round Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Dripping Springs, 6 p.m.
