In 1965 they moved to McCamey, TX. Finding a new home, a teaching job for Theodora, and a welcoming group of friends, they remained in McCamey after Frank’s retirement.

After Frank died in 1995, Theodora continued to reside in McCamey, working in the Methodist Church, Garden Club, Study Club, Chamber of Commerce and numerous civic and social groups. In 2014 she moved to San Antonio, TX to be closer to her daughters.

Theodora is survived by her three daughters, Dora Blatchford and husband Joe, Caroline Matthews and partner Ed Slezak, Ester Matthews and partner Max Nofziger; grandson Sloan (April) Blatchford, granddaughter Isabel Webster; great grandchildren Relina Blatchford and Oliver Allen.
