Boerne resident and TMI sophomore Carson Clark recorded an ace on the 11th hole at Tapatio Springs. Clark used a pitching iron from the white tees that measured 129 yards that day. Fall sports got underway at local high schools on Monday as student athletes and coaches began preparations for the upcoming seasons. At Champion, there is a new sport this year as water polo kicked off its inaugural campaign with practice at the Boerne city pool.
