Silver-haired committee meeting in Boerne
The Executive Committee of the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Boerne City Library Community Room. Ed Rogers, elected member of TSHL from Boerne/ Kendall County, representing the Alamo Area Agency on Aging, is the local host and has made all arrangements for the group. “We are excited to welcome executive committee members of TSHL representing 28 Area Agencies on Aging from across our great state of Texas, to Boerne.”

A History of Prosecution in Texas and Kendall County
The Texas Constitution has always provided for a district attorney who represents the state in criminal prosecutions as part of the judicial branch of government. In 1866, the Texas Constitution was amended to add the county court and a county attorney with misdemeanor jurisdiction to the judicial branch.
