BOERNE — Anyone searching for a good mystery, a classic whodunit ... look no further. Book a reservation for Boerne Community Theatre’s production of “The Mousetrap,” by the queen of mysteries herself, Agatha Christie.
The play is the longest running play in theater history. Now you can figure out “whodunit” for yourselves.
Set in England at Monkswell Manor, a country inn, guests are suddenly trapped when a terrific snowstorm occurs — and someone is murdered. An intriguing group of people must deal with the situation until a policeman finally arrives on skis.
Co- directors Donna Provencher and Barry Goettl have a cast including Keisha McFerrin, Provencher, Kareem Abu Dahab, Jeffery Hensel, D.J. Bohman, Mark Menn, Christina Love, Taylor Lueckenotte and Sam Racer.
Provencher, Dahab and Hensel have appeared in at least one production in Boerne; the rest are new to the BCT stage. Robert Moritz, who has appeared many times for BCT, designed the set.
The Mousetrap runs May 9-11 and May 15-18. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sundays, and 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tickets are $20-$24.
