Geneva students excel at speech contest
Geneva School of Boerne high school students competed in the TAPPS 4A State Speech and Academics Meet in Waco. Geneva School of Boerne high school students competed in the TAPPS 4A State Speech and Academics Meet in Waco March 24-26 placing third overall; third in Speech and third in Academics.

The following individual awards were also earned: 1st place, Advanced Math–senior Will Crews 1st place, Number Sense–senior Will Crews 1st place, Chemistry– senior Will Crews 1st place, Literary Criticism–senior Rachel Troyer 2nd place, Literary Criticism–freshman Lilly Jones 2nd place, Prose– sophomore Catalina Lozada 3rd place, Advanced Math–junior Brady Chandler 3rd place overall, Science–senior Will Crews 4th place, Calculator Applications–junior Samuel Crews 5th place, Calculator Applications– junior Logan Reyes 5th place, Spanish– junior Ava McPherson 6th place, Poetry– senior Rachel Troyer 6th place, Prose– senior Rachel Troyer 7th place, Original Oratory–junior Jonathan Taylor 8th place, Poetry– sophomore Rosie Troyer
