SUNDAY BLUEGRASS JAM: Bring an instrument and play along or just come to listen to the bluegrass jams while exploring the exhibits and grounds from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the AgriCultural Museum and Arts Center, 102 City Park Road in Boerne. Held the second and fourth Sundays of the month, the jam is free to attend. KUHLMANN-KING TOURS at 402 E. Blanco Road from noon to 3 p.m. Step back in time to experience and explore how a Boerne family would have lived in the late 1800s. Tours are free, but donations are always welcome. Operated by the Boerne Area Historical Preservation Society.

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY hosted by VFW Post 688 at 11 a.m. at Boerne Cemetery, 700 N. School St. The VFW honor all veterans who have died and are buried at the cemetery. Program features a guest speaker with a 21-gun salute. The Post will begin collecting flags from graves at 5 p.m.

OPEN CAR SHOW at the Historic Welfare School, 217 Waring Welfare Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. See antique vehicles, tractors and more. All proceeds will go to restoration of the schoolhouse.
