LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT 

MAY 14

8:46 a.m., 1200 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a group of females followed her vehicle into the parking lot, got out of their vehicle and yelled at the caller.

2:44 p.m., mile marker 539, W. Interstate 10 – A reckless driver was reported on the interstate. Law enforcement was unable to locate the vehicle.

3:01 p.m., 1100 block of Grand – A caller reported trespassing by a woman who came into her apartment.

4:39 p.m., 800 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported someone at the location was verbally harassing him. The caller told dispatch this was ongoing issue.

MAY 15

7:57 a.m., Herff Road/River Road – A three-vehicle collision was reported. One of the occupants reported sustaining a neck injury.

1:00 p.m., 400 block ofW. Bandera Road – An employee reported a driver drove off without paying for gas.

2:03 p.m., 100 block of W. Blanco Road – A two-vehicle collision occurred.The vehicles were able to get out of the flow of traffic.

2:43 p.m., 300 block of Esser Road – Animal control was called to the area to handle a deer.

MAY 16

2:56 a.m., 700 block of River Road – A caller reported her husband was intoxicated and getting aggressive. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was detained.

9:55 a.m., 900 block of S. Main Street – A two-vehicle collision was reported. Both vehicles were able to relocate.

6:36 p.m., 100 block of City Park – A caller reported damage to fencing along the driveway.

10:29 p.m., 100 block of E. Hampton Run – A caller reported a male was looking into his house and vehicles with a flashlight.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAY 14

7:40 a.m., at Blaschke Road/FM 289 – Three loose goats were reported to be in the middle of the road.

8:42 a.m., 200 block of Live Oak Pass – A caller reported a woman walking down the street, wearing a shower cap, requested assistance with something on her property. Law enforcement was not able to locate the woman.

9:39 a.m., 300 block of Sharon Drive – A caller reported finding a box of kittens.

2:54 p.m., 100 block of Miraval – A caller reported her father was on the way to pay a scammer $20,000, but she did not know his location.

8:21 p.m., 200 block of Highway 87 – A caller reported a van with blacked out windows sitting outside the apartment complex for around two hours. It was found that the vehicle had broken down.

MAY 15

12:08 a.m., 900 block of FM 473 – A caller reported hearing a vehicle hitting construction cones. The caller noted they were not sure if it was a reckless driver, or a vehicle accident.

10:57 a.m., 300 block of Ammann Road – A caller reported receiving a scam text that his power was going to be turned off if he did not pay the amount. The man even had a different electric company.

1:00 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported someone who drove off without paying for gas.

4:46 p.m., 100 block of Jennifer Drive – A caller reported a package with over $1,000 of car parts was stolen.

MAY 16

10:26 a.m., 100 block of Sattler Road – A caller reported a cow on the side of the road.

12:12 p.m., mile marker 529 of W I-10 – A caller reported another driver pulled a firearm on the caller. Dispatch noted the caller was argumentative and uncooperative on the phone.

3:14 p.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported his father-in-law was on the way to pay a scammer $12,000.

6:16 p.m., mile marker 530, E. I-10 – A driver reported speed limit signs along the interstate were covered in black plastic.

11:09 p.m., on Eagle Drive/Tapatio Drive – A caller reported an SUV parked at the location for four hours.
